Hooobi, it should be a nice match to a coolpix 950 with all those megs. Not the new Mavika to be sure but good reviews all along.

actually, I originally was trying to order a Coolpix 950 through Camerasound.com (would have been ~$350 after rebate!) but that fell through (camersound are a bunch of as$holes) but by then it was too late and I had the digicam fever

just ordered my 128meg CF this morning

95% of the reviews I read (literally 100+) about the DC4800 have ranged from glowing to raving so I decided to go ahead and get this instead of the 950 or 990

now if I only had something to take a picture of...

about 16 at 3.1 MP normal compression ... 1 at 3.1 MP uncompressed mode (TIFF) ;-)
