Went to Staples B&M today....got price match with AAA for $ 449.69 + $ 15.00 shipping - $ 40.00 coupon = $ 424.69 + sales tax - $ 100.00 Kodak rebate to come....sweet...

I called up staples.com and a CSR said they wont accept an AAA PM, because they offer a rebate with it, and thats their policy. I politeley told her that I didnt want to layout $600 and 6-8 weeks from now, get $100 back for a new price of $500. She said, thats not $500, thats 499.98. Did anyone else have any luck PM'ing with AAA with a CSR on the phone?
 
No luck.

First CSR called AAA and put my on hold for 2 seconds before he told me AAA did not have it in stock. Second CSR told me AAA did not work on Sunday. I begged her to call. It took her 2 seconds to tell me AAA did not have it in stock. They were trained to not PM AAA, I guess. Somebody mentioned in another thread that Staples sent out a national notice direct their CSRs not to PM with AAA on DC4800.
 
As to "AAA"'s price...I was in Staples this afternoon; they called "AAA" and was told $ 15.00 for shipping....as a matter of fact, Staples' Manager said "...looks like they're trying to make up part of low price with higher shipping costs"....

Anyway, here's an idea....print out the "AAA" price and take it to Sears....they have a price match policy, too...you won't get any further discount, at least today, but it may be better than zip !

Doesnt that $100 rebate expire yesterday?

Is there another rebate out there that I should know about?

I ordered this from Staples 1 month ago, and they're only delivering it today.
I told them I dont want it if I dont get the rebate, and they told me not to worry that it would
be ok, cuz I ordered in 1 month ago.

If there's another rebate out there I can use then it might save me a headache.
 
it's probably a typo. the kodak part # is the same "cat 146-5087"

if it is indeed an 8 mb and not 16, no big deal, 8 mb of CF is basically worthless
