Koch Brothers Net Worth Tops $100 Billion as TV Warfare Escalates

Charles and David Koch, the billionaire brothers who run Wichita, Kansas-based Koch Industries Inc., added $1.3 billion to their collective fortune yesterday on reports that U.S. industrial production gained more than forecast. The surge elevated their net worth to more than $100 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

The Koch’s fortune is derived from their combined 84 percent stake in the second-largest closely held company in the U.S., which has annual sales of about $115 billion, according to Koch Industries’ website. They’re the fifth- and sixth-richest people in the world.

The billionaires also own Atlanta-based Georgia-Pacific LLC, which makes Dixie cups, Brawny paper towels and Quilted Northern toilet tissue.

Obsession's can be unhealthy. The question is at what point do they start to become dangerous? Have you mapped out the water towers in the area based on the potential for best kill results? That would be a defining criteria for getting help.

True or false : Koch Industries employes people.

True or false : Those employees get paid from profits made by the companies of Koch Industries.

True or false : Those employees spend their pay on products made by other companies which employ other people for pay.

And the cycle continues. THAT is trickle-down, and denying its existence is foolishness.
 
I commend the Koch brothers for their providing jobs for Americans.

I condemn the Koch brothers for using their vast wealth to relentlessly drive down American's wages for ever higher profits that they obviously can do without.

All the people I know who work for a Koch business is well paid and has great compensation packages. In fact most are union members.
 
The Koch Brothers have also donated to Democrats. Harry Reid "forgets" to mention this whilst he smears their name.

Yes they have and those Dem's were very happy to take that money. Among them was a Senator named Barack Obama. Don't for one second think that Harry Reid is leading the charge against the Koch's of his own volition. He is following orders from a man who was happy to take Koch money when it suited his needs.

Other big names include Baucus, Biden, Hillary and Feinstein. And that is just in the Senate.
