Kobe scores 34 as Lakers cruise

Kobe Bryant, Derek Fisher, and Robert Horry played great defense holding Bonzi to 4-12 and Stoudamire to 1-8.

Meanwhile, Ruben "Kobe-Killer" Patterson held Kobe to 34 😉

<< Kobe shot 10-28. >>

That's awful 🙁

Maybe the Lakers could start winning championships if Kobe actually learned how to play

hehe, kobe needs to stop taking the outside shot 😉
the team's much better when he drives and scores/kicks.

The problem is, they ARE winning championships even when Kobe doesnt know how to play (according to you)...

he threw up too many bricks in the 2nd and 3rd qters. I wish he would drive into the lane and dish to Shaq more.

Err...I know 🙂

Yeah, Iverson is just terrible sometimes.

Btw, notice that Kobe shot barely under 50% from the field last season, pretty damn good for a guy that scores 27 pts a game...

Kobe is someday gonna have to increase his shooting range because once he loses his quickness, (or Shaq as a teamate) his game will struggle because his shooting range is rather limited for someone who plays the SG position.

u don't know what you are talking about. Kobe no shooting range? Just because he missed some 3s today doesn't mean he can't shoot from the arc. (I think he made couple of those consecutively in 1st quarter😀)

kobe looks funny after he shaved the fro. for those pple criticizing kobe's shooting... he has his on days... and he has his off days too. in the end, he still averages shooting almost 46% from the field. not bad.

Actually I didn't even watch todays game I was just speaking in general. He shot 25% from beyond the arc for the year and 31% for his career so I'm not pulling this opinion out of thin air.He gets a ton of open looks because of Shaq and should be a better outside shooter

I have watched enough Laker games to know he struggles from beyond the arc. I would take it even further to say that unless he was open, any shot from a step inside the arc and back he struggles to make.

Just like Jordan improved his range because he knew that he couldn't always fly to the hole,Kobe really needs to improve his outside game is all I'm saying

Yeah...Kobe's awful. If I could go back in time, I'd tell the Laker execs *not* to trade Vlade for him...

Well if I had said Kobe was awful that would be one thing,I merely said he doesn't shoot well enough from long range.

don't matter what he shoots as long as he scores and wins right ? exactly i love the lakers,, and i know they will win it again 🙂

MJ didn't shoot that much better than kobe when he was on his prime time (forget about the re-return!) Yet, he is MJ! So I don't see a problem with kobe missing tons of outside shot. Just make it when he needs to.

hahaha ...
