Shit sucks. Some could argue he was even better than Jordan.

I can't imagine playing like that in pro sports and dying right after it. That sucks.

I am 100% in disbelief right now. On ESPN they said 4 of his children all daughters, including the newborn were believed to be on board as well.

I can't say top scorer of all-time (as of less than 1 week ago) would fall under "borderline top 10 all-time"... I would call that more along the lines of "in the debate for within top 3 of all time"

Clearly you don’t know basketball.

I won’t argue if someone has him #8 all time. He’s not on Mt Rushmore, that’s for sure.

So it's his Sikorsky S-76 personal helicopter that he's been using for quite awhile. I wander if it's pilot error, weather or helicopter maintenance related?
R.I.P. Anyone know the identities (besides the pilot) of the 3 dead?

Update: CNN: "13 year old daughter confirmed was also in the helicopter . His Daughter's Teammate, Parent, and Pilot."

The NBA legend and his daughter were both onboard the private helicopter
