Kobe = Ball Hog

fs5

Lifer
You see LeBron and Z double teaming him with Mihm SOOOO open under the basket and Kobe just shoots it? BALL HOG. (Even though he made it.)

Yeah I am lifelong Lakers lover, but even I am getting pretty tired of Mamba shooting like that. Guys like Iverson and LeBron are just SUCH better teammates because they routinely pass out of double-teams (or even triple-teams). With Kobe, there's just no way that he's NOT taking the shot.

Who's Mamba?

In some interview Kobe said that he wants to be known as "Mamba." A mamba is an extremely venomous snake.

You see, Kobe is very dangerous.... to female hotel staff in Colorado that is.

I hate Kobe. His "needing" to win a Championship without Shaq is going to drive the Lakers into the ground.

Would you rather have the Lakers without Kobe? I don't think anything will change, they're still going to be a mediocre team, hell probably even worse.

odom was open, BUT, odom is a very very poor outside shooter. no one else was open, and Kobe was trying to draw the foul, but he made it anyway.

there was only 5 or so seconds left at the shot clock, and the Cavs did a good job defensively to shut out any outlet passes till that point. Kobe has already proven to make shots in these situations. Compared to any any other player in the league, I'd choose Kobe over anyone to take the shot he did, even though he was double teamed, over anyone. A doubled teamed clutch Kobe > than wide open Foward.

3 in a row at that stretch. very very clutch.

As a Lakers fan I think I'd seriously rather lose than have Kobe on the team. He's just too much to take these days.

I've been saying that he is a ball hog ever since the first year I saw him play, no one listened, all I kept on hearing was. YEAAAAAAAAA KOBE WOOOOOOOOOO, LAKER NUMBER 1. now all i have to say is . . .I told you so.

I hear people compare Kobe to Michael Jordan all the time & IMO thats a total joke.. until he's able to make the players around him better theres no way he should even be mentioned in the same breath. Without Shaq I doubt we'll be seeing him or the Lakers in the finals again any time soon.
