I know theres no chance he will ever win on a bad team, but honestly, he is the best player in the NBA but apparently that isn't what counts, to win an MVP you have to be the best player who is also on top tier team and is also well liked by the press.

I mean lets be honest, Nash is a very good player, but the reason he wins is becasue he is white and has a good image.

They don't need Shaq to win a title, just another good one or two players alongside Kobe.

Put Shaq on the current lakers, replace kobe with average non-superstar guard and see if they win a title. Even Shaq in his prime couldn't do it.
