Kobayashi expands his stomach for a competition by eating larger and larger amounts of food, and then exercises to ensure that fat will not impede expansion of his stomach during a competition.[10] According to a 2006 documentary on MTV's "True Life," Kobayashi has a condition called gastroptosis, an abnormal downward displacement of the stomach. It plays a role in his eating ability because his stomach is able to expand below the rib cage unlike most people, allowing him to take in large portions of food.
Well, that's not fair! 🙂

He's just gifted.

A Krystal/White Castle Burger is a 1oz patty, with one pickle, a very soft fluffly bun, and some onion.

Not discriminating between the sizes of the buns, 4 Krystals = 1 Wendy's Single, 1 McD's Quarter Pounder, 2 Wendy's Juniors, 2 McD's Cheeseburgers.

So basically he 6 pounds of meat with buns, 97 pickle slices and probably the equivlent of 1/4 onion.

I Struggle to eat 8 of the burgers in 15 minutes.

And they look like White Castle burgers because White Castle is the same as Krystal (Whitey's = North, Krystal = South)... much like Hardee's (East) and Carl's Junior (West)

They look funny because they are steam cooked rather than cooked by the heat of the grill... so they really don't get much color. Perfect after a night of drinking, very bad for the next day. I've noticed that the price of the burgers is about 2 times a single wing on their "xx¢ wing night" most wing places

With these burgers, it's not the sh*t that kills... it's the stench that comes in only a few hours that lasts for a day or two.

I heard that eating fatty foods in such a quick time takes years of of your life, even worse so than smoking.
