I've got a challenge for you Witling.

Make a new list of P&N members that are:
- Generally logical
- Abstain from trolling
- Rarely flame or insult
- Examine both sides of an issue before forming an opinion

Good luck! ;)

Hell, that's an easy one. There's only two members who meet every one of those conditions...

JohnGalt and BOBDN

;)

Can we count these on two hands or will one suffice? (whoops - this might be trolling:eek:)

Since BOBDN is banned, I gotta go with dmcowen674 as BDawg suggested ;)

BTW if most of the people you listed didn't post here, this Forum would s*ck and most likely NEVER have been created. P&N came from two threads in ATOT, and those guys were here from the start, made it what it is, and keep it fresh.
(even those inherently violent Canadians and the euroweenies, when they are sober enough to post ;))

Hmmm. I guess I am new to P&N. I must also be a wishy washy do nothing that goes with the flow as well....

So when do we get our armbands, scarlet letters, or yellow Stars of David to wear on our lapels so that everyone will know who we are??

Frodo, you said,

"You repeatedly manipulate news stories to show republicans in the worst possible light. You're all about promoting your communist dictatorship utopia dreams. I've been posting and lurking on all sorts of message forums for almost a decade and I have to say that you are one of the worst trolls that I have ever seen.
Do you even feel the guilt anymore?"

You said this right after a post with three levels of quotes. The "you" is ambiguous. To which "you" were you referring?

I am referring to the lost soul, dmcowen674.

I definitely missed UltraQuiet, SuperTool, Shinerburke, Nietzscheusw and probably Strk. To some of these people (and the attorney general), I've extended my apologies. I'll get those clandestine troublemakers on the next list.

EDITED: And to Heart, sorry, strictly alphabetical. Can you imagine what would happen on this board if you tried to rank "troublemakers?" The thought is frightening.

What's so frightening, should be easy to rank them like Hitler, Rush, Stalin, CAD, Hussein, Bush, Castro, you get the idea....

lol

dangit...I hate it when dicks make me laugh

woe, did that ever come out wrong. ;)

being tickled in all the wrong spots, eh?

It's such an honor to be on the list, "YOU LOVE ME, YOU REALLY RELALY LOVE ME!". I'd like to thank my countless fans, my parents, my agent, my producers, and my fellow cast members!

Guys this got me thinking. The Anandtech forums are a real source of computer knowledge, which is originally how I found them, and I wouldn't want to be banned. So if you ever see a post of mine that you think may be banworthy... please let me know and I'll consider making it politically correct.

Also how is the ban done, via IP or username?

You can do both -- there are separate ban lists for ips and usernames. A third one for e-mail addresses as well.

The system can feel the vibes of a banned person regardless of from where they attempt to enter the domain of the righteous communicators. This vibe monitor then signals the appropriate program which then puts the Persona Non Grata into a loop of psychedelic mood colors rendering the offender placid. At this point the situation is calm and the banned person then says "Kool" and goes elsewhere.

Well, I'm shocked that I finally made the list, but I try not to post in this forum too much. It can get my blood boiling at time. Funny thread though. ;)

Don't fret too much Zeph, the Mods are good people. The people getting banned are blatant, multiple warnings and clear violations. Just watch how you use certain words in the context you use them and NO links to Nudes.
