People are going to start fighting back. Its only a matter of time before a cop pulls this shit on someone who is legally carrying a gun and decides to defend himself.

Resisting an an unlawful arrest is still a crime. Especially murdering someone for it. Putting handcuffs on someone and presenting them to court is NOT an applicable case where someone can utilize lethal force in self-defense.

Even if a complete stranger came up to you and grabbed your hand and tried to restrain you, that is NOT a lethal-force situation.

This mentality however, is contributing to police fearing random life-threatening assaults from people. Police now fear that when they fuck up and make a mistake over enforcing a minor ordinance violation, someone is going to resist them and shoot them.
