Know what I don't get about the people on this site?

As soon as MS says they collect information through Media Player 8, dozens of people jump up saying "OMG! That's so wrong - such an invasion of privacy, they can't do that! I'm boycotting MS!"

But then as soon as someone posts a thread about an "anti-terrorism" bill that allows law enforcement to tap phones, copy emails and voice mails, all without a warrant, people say "oh, I'm not doing anything illegal, doesn't bother me"......

Are the CDs and DVDs you watch that important to you, to outweigh the right to free speech without anyone listening?

If it makes a difference, I'm against both kinds of invasion of privacy. But you definitely have a good point.
