Know How to Get Rid of this ICQ Button?

Hi, i'm trying to figure out a way to get rid of the 'ICQ SMS!' button that appears at the top of my contact list. I can't figure it out though. if anyone knows how to, please tell. My icq verson is icq2000b rev4.6 thx.

Look in your Icq/Partner folder - open partner.xml with notpad and delete all the lines. now make partner.eml read only.

Perhaps you could find an earlier version with a little less bloatware to it? I'm using icq99a and once I got it customized, it was ok. Still bloated, but ok.

Use MSN, AOL IM, Or Yahoo and avoid Bloated IM programs

simply delete "Partner" folder

i have a copy of icq 98b somewhere i think ... back in the day before all the bloat ...

98 was "somewhat stable"
