Man i tried this..and heck yeah man..it works great..a great way to see how linux runs on ur computer...

the only problem i have is that my dang audio card(Philips Acoustic Edge) has no support from Linux...which sucks..i wonder if i can find any ways to get it to work...??

TIA

Am I correct in thinking that the Philips card has the same chip as my Santa Cruz? If so, then the card should be supported in the latest Linux 2.4 kernels, as my TBSC is.

Cool info. I just DL'ed it last night and just finished burning the ISO. I hope to have time to try it out on my lappy tonight!

I tried this a while ago on one of my work machines and it worked great!!
However I couldn't get it to work right on my home machine:( It would find all the drivers and everything just fine except when it came to my monitor which is a lcd connected via dvi cable. So while it booted I could see everything it was doing but once it tried to configure my monitor it went black and never came back:(

Does anyone know how I would fix this?
