You know how you see something that looks like it would be totally awesome and you get all psyched up and when you actually get it, it totally does no live up to your expectations and just completely sucks ass?

Well, this movie was not like that at all. This was a good movie. The making fun of the dude with the beard was the best though.

BTW, a movie I saw two nights ago (also about unwanted pregnancy): Waitress (2007)
It's a drama/comedy - I'd guess most ATers wouldn't like this sort of film but I think that's a good thing in your case.
FWIW, I liked the movie enough to mention it - sort of reminded me of Jennifer Aniston's The Good Girl.

I'd give it better that "decent". I liked it, but would agree that I don't really have any interest in seeing it again.

I liked the movie, but the beard jokes were pretty lame and repetitive, an obvious plot device to give a visual aid of the passing of time and progression of the pregnancy.
