Anyone have one of these? I have walked past them at Office Depot, but never gave them much thought. How about wireless network conflicts? I was under the impression that some 2.4ghz phones can screw up the new wireless access points.

Looks like an excellent deal on a cordless phone however.

I would not recommend these to anyone. I bought one on onsale, and have horrible problems with quality. From reading the reviews, it sounds like half of the units suffer from this. The problem is that they work fine for a few months.

I would not pay more than 20 bucks for any additional handsets for my system, and that's just because I already sank so much money into it.

I had no problem with the 2.4Ghz phones. its one of the best phones I ever had my hands on. These phones works great even at long distances and its clear as if you were right next to it. I could walk down the hall from my apartment dumping my trash while i'm on the phone. :) i got them for $89.00 back in the days of auction sites. I would buy another one once i finished settling down in my new apartment.

Have to agree with Edit. My experience with them is baaad. Horrible quality for the answering machine and about 1/2 the time when I call someone they complain that I cut in and out. Customer service is non existent and offered me no help at all.
Too bad cuz they are cool looking.

I, too, had scored a couple of these on OnSale, back awhile. I went through several cycles of re-registering the handsets with the base station, but it kept "warbling", cutting in and out rapidly. These were, of course, version 1.0 refurbs, but I understand the revised equipt. was no better. I finally got someone at the refurb seller, and they told me I had to move both the base and the handset at least 15 feet from any computer, to kill the interference. Huh? I bought it as a biz telephone system. He allowed me to return for a full refund. Away from the PC? Me? No way, Jose'.
