Knobs for Audiophiles!

Coincidentally, most audiophiles (or at least self proclaimed ones) ARE knobs.

They actually do help. I installed them on my factory stereo in my Ford and I could instantly notice a difference. Its very subtle, in fact you cant even notice it with the engine running but turn the engine off and it becomes apparent........

One of these days I'm going to start selling that "Silence Emitter" that I've been working on for so long.

Most audiophiles believe that they can still perceive some sort of imperfections in their million dollar systems, and they can never pinpoint what it is. The truth is, they are nuts.

But I am going to tell them that it's because the silence in their room is not silent enough, and this is akin to painting on canvas that is not perfectly white. The dirty canvas will taint the entire painting, and in the same way, the dirty silence in the room will taint all of what one hears.

I was looking at your site and found these knobs (Silver Rock Signature Knob , Code: NOB_C37_C).
I respect any good business men but, to me, selling a wooden knob for $485 is borderline. I mean there is nothing special with it.
What makes this piece of wood worth $485?

...Here is a test for all you Silver Rock owners. Try removing the bakelite knobs and listen. You will be shocked by this! The signature knobs will have an even greater effect?really amazing! The point here is the micro vibrations created by the volume pots and knobs find their way into the delicate signal path and cause degradation (Bad vibrations equal bad sound)...


..all these years.. and I could have been in the knob business..mabe I can start a knob polishing service.

have you seen the prices of their cables? They make the Monster sets you buy at Worst Buy look affordable in comparison.

Someone buy one of those upgrade chips, lets perform an ATOT science experiment (and no, I don't mean trying it on CDs, I mean breaking it in half and seeing what's inside)
 
Actually I think someone with a Bose or Sony system, maybe an ipod, would be a lot more likely to buy something like this than an audiophile. Call it an iKnob and make it pink, the kids will line up like lemmings.
