Is this a game that a six-year-old Star Wars fan could enjoy on easy setting, with some assistance from his dad? He is an experienced gamer but loses interest if the gameplay is too difficult. For instance, AOTC on easy is a favorite of his. Thanks for any help.

The game is too complex for the average 6 year old. I don't see how he'd have the patience to deal with all the dialogue and RPG thinking that's needed to move the story forward. Your assistance would be a constant thing--basically, you'd be doing all the thinking, then you'd turn the controller over to him to do some button smashing when the fighting begun, then you'd reload to the last save after he died. Hehe.

Your welcome. FYI, just because your son wouldn't likely get it, doesn't mean you should deprive yourself of the best Star Wars game ever (yes, it's a legitimately good game--we all know of the previous Lucas Arts attrocities other than X-wing, TieFighter). 😀

hopefully only best until that commando game comes out. PLZ OH PLZ BE GOOD

Don't hold your breath on that one--I suspect your best bet is hoping for lightning to strike twice with KOTOR2.

Hey, some of us enjoyed the Jedi Knight/Academy titles.

That said, I bought KOTOR on Saturday and am enjoying it immensely. I wish combat was more like Jedi Academy, though. It's not very flashy...more like SWG.

Yes, I forgot about JK2-- I enjoyed that a lot as well. As for combat not being flashyin KOTOR, how far are you? You won't be able to do anything too flashy until you are reasonably powerful and well into the game.

I'm not very far, still stuck in Taris? Messing around in the sewers and the Black Vulkans.

So far it seems like a combination of an implementation of the d20 SW RPG and SWG.
