Knights of the Force

Part I is released. Part II and II coming soon.

Didnt know this existed until I looked up more mods for Jedi Academy. Havent tried it yet but looks really fun and adds to the already amazing Jedi Academy.

Plenty of screenies, videos etc.

Have fun

Cool stuff.
I never get tired of Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy. Glad to see some folks still working on it.

I downloaded this last night and Windows Defender flagged it as a Trojan during its overnight scan. False positive or valid result?

hmm i was reading about that kotf and decided not to try it, looks shady as the creator of the mod used other peoples work without permission, i actually d/l it but i got a corrupt rar file and gave up. I also read about other people saying a virus installs when uninstalling, although the integrity of the mod may be shady, maybe those peolple are pointint at false positives, but i think i'll just stay clear of it.

I heard rumors about this being shady/vaporware/etc maybe two or three years ago. This is still around and in production? Wow.

Well when I first started reading this thread I thought it looked cool. The last few posts got me to do some digging around.

I'll pass too!

It's too bad there's a chance it contains virus's and whatnot, it looks kind of cool. Anyone know any other good SP mods for Jedi Academy? I've been meaning to play through it again for ages now and a good mod may make that happen.

Hmm, interesting. It didn't even look good to me, this just further compounds my will to not even get this mod for free. It looked like some talentless guy just dropped "enhanced" effects into an otherwise boring and dated-looking game. But I only looked at a few screenshots. Support the true modders, not scammers.

Baldur's Gate is even older. Fallout 1 had a DOS version. X-Com came on floppies. Wasteland ran on the Apple II.

Good games are good games.

This mod is apparently not good games. My first clue was a link on the website to a cracked download of the main JA game.

Yes, it uses a modified version of that engine and was released in 2003. Your point?

Probably that because it's old and bad looking that it's boring. I for one would like to give it a try but I never owned Jedi Academy, I've only played Jedi Outcast, I will try to buy a retail version of Jedi Academy if I can find one, I don't like relying on eBay for old retail games but I will if I have to.

It's not as good as the first two IMO, but it retains the basic gameplay and is still pretty fun. Good luck finding a used copy, the tend to go for a lot on eBay for some reason. The cheapest one I saw on eBay ATM is $60.. :Q

Truth. Like KotOR, it's a rare and valuable game. I wish I didn't lose my copies of the Jedi Knight and KotOR games. :( I miss them so much.
