Knife recommendations

I'm in the market for a new pocketknife and was wondering what everyone would suggest. Not looking for anything huge with tons of tools. Something smallish yet something that has at least, pliers, philips and standard screwdrivers and scissors. I was looking aroung at the Swiss Army website earlier and found a couple of interest, but would like to get some other opnions. Thanks.

Only thing that comes to mind is the Leatherman Micra. about 20 bucks and it goes on your keychain so you can take it anywhere. Mine always comes in handy.

No Pliers, but it does have screw drivers, scissors, Tweezers knife, file.

Edit: Leatherman Wave is pretty nice, has the thumb action knife on the side with locking blade. Got all the goodies but cost about 50 dollars.

Just curious - why a multi-function knife?

I do a lot of computer work. It's a lot easier to have a multifunction on me than a bunch of individual tools.

Very true, didn't think of it that way

<-- Is used to carrying around a tool kit

Anyway the Gerbers hold up very well, the Leathermans are nice too. I'd think for computer use though that either/or would do. (Reason I asked was b/c thought you might go camping with it, that definetly is a factor)

I also do computer repair, and the Cybertool has been incredibly usefull. It has several different screwdriver bits, a wrench that will remove those hex shaped screws on the monitor/parallel/serial ports on the backs of computers, and a needle to open stuck cd/dvd drives.

Unfortunately haven't been camping in a few years. Last time I did was when I was in the boy scouts way back about ten or so years, I'm 21 incase anyone's wondering. 🙂

I was checking that one out earlier. REALLY nice knife, little out of my price range unfortunately. 🙁
