Anyone else like these guys?

I kinda forgot about them until just recently for some reason.

Most popular song was probably Drug Against War, not all that great.

Been listening to some of their stuff and forgot about how killer they were.

I dunno what genre you'd put it in.

I'd say some of their best tunes would be Anarchy, Today, Inane, and the Who Made Who cover.

They still around?

I liked Megalomaniac.
They're a pretty cool band. Their songs spawned some pretty decent remixes.

It's "industrial"...

I saw them live not too long ago. The opening "bands" were absolutely....... horrible. I honestly couldn't understand 90% of what KMFDM was saying.

I was really hoping to hear Megalomaniac, but they destroyed it, imo. I'm not a hardcore "industrial" fan, so perhaps I just don't "get it." There were a lot of people there (mostly goths) that seemed to be profoundly affected by the display.

They're still around, just not as KMFDM. Can't remember exactly what their new name is, but it's just KMFDM rearranged.

MDFMK if Im not mistaken.

Ive been getting back into them recently. I cant find the older cd I had of theirs, but I just picked up 3 (naive, some other one, and a 2 track cd with naive remixed by TKK and a TKK song remixed by KMFDM). Im diggin' it.

I used to love KMFDM! At one point a couple of years back I had practically every album and single (both US and foreign) they had ever released. One of the advantages of being the store manager of a used CD shop with a "reserve" system. :)

Alas, married life, children and being broke (sold most of my CD's when I was REALLY broke) has left me with only a couple of KMFDM CD's left. I was too shortsighted to rip them all to MP3 before I sold the CD's. :(

Those were the days, I remember playing "The Problem" from the album Angst for my parents when I was a teen. They couldn't believe an "industrial" band like KMFDM would have a song that hit so close to home on one of their albums.

My Life With the Thrill Kill Cult was another cool band along those lines.
