Klipsch v.2-400 or Cambridge DTT3500?

Why is the Klipsch Promedia v.2-400 system so superior? Why aren't people dissuaded by the lack of a digital decoder? I'm in the market for some new speakers, and these definitely seem to be up there, but I'm getting an SB Live Platinum, which might go better with the Cambridge DTT3500, despite the Klipsch's superior performance.

I have the DTT3500s. I like them, however, I feel that the sound is somewhat muddy. I prefer my Boston Acoustics BA4800s over them, despite the 5.1 playback ability. I prefer higher-quality sounds than muddy, but boomy bass.

Klipsch is superior because they make some of the best sound systems. 3D SoundSurge has reviews on those speakers. v.2-400 are replaced by 4.1 and 5.1 is coming out soon.

What about the Midiland S4-8200 Dolby Digital system? How do the Midiland's stack up to the Cambridge DTT3500 and the Klipsch?

Klipsch... they sound better and they're not much more expensive. Also, can't resist 400W. I fyou want to spend more ($399), Klipsch now also has the 5.1 set out with 500W :)
