amazon gold box is suck. one time i got a olympus D-40 for $240 that was cool. but ever since i check box every day and all i get is fancy spatulas and HARDCORE POWER DRILLS. well i did buy a gold box item "Whack-A-Mole" game but it was defective and my girlfriend's children cried.

I'd be tempted but I was lucky to pick up a an open box item this weekend at Bestbuy at their "value" sale for $99.00. Said no wires or manuals but all else is there. Gonna sell my perfect condtion 4.1's now. Rolled on the carpet when i saw box was complete. There were some pretty good deals.

I checked my local BB for the 5.1's and they did have an open box item and it was marked at $300.99

$100 bones off retail, will have to keep and eye on these and make sure they follow procedure and mark them down every 3 days

I'll then try to get one of my friends to make a final mark down then buy them.

It's worth a try

i get the digitheatre 5.1 setup for the same price. they are by far the best speaker system. there is a review on anandtech.

I was pleasantly surprised with the items in my goldbox this time. I got about 3 or 4 deals on speaker systems for the puter. It's a nice change from all the kitchenware and gardening junk that I'm never gonna need or want.
