Just stumbled upon this.

I wish I could justify buying it myself but I can't (own 2 subs already) - so I'll do the next best thing and share it here in case anyone else is interested.

The Amazon price is about $50 less than anywhere else on Froogle, etc. and it ships free - which is another good thing since its pretty heavy at 35lbs.

If you're interested, you better hurry - only 3 left as of this posting.

EDIT: I would withdraw it if I could as it has been roundly condemned as a cold deal on a sub par sub. Hopefully, there will be a slew of real HD's and it will drop to page 10 and be forgotten! 🙁
 
A quick Google of "Klipsch KSW-12" showed a bunch of reviews on the selling sites (pricegrabber, etc.) plus some from Audio mags and sites. Those that I read said yes.
 
I paid less for this sub a while back, but was not impressed. 440W rating is MAX, it's only something like 115W RMS. I felt it was a little too boomy and underpowered. It did not do well with music, but did pretty well with movies. In the end I sold it and upgraded to the Mirage S12 and never looked back...
 
That sub doesn't compare well to the Acoustech H100, which you can get well under $300.

Check out avsforum.com and go to the sub section. You'll get some great info there.

It's a hot deal if you really want that particular sub, so no offense to the OP, just letting people know that you can do better for the money.
 
i have one, and it rattles the windows in my living room
i think it is awesome, and it fills my 18x24 living room with tight, even bass
 
I would listen to YOyoYOhowsDAjello the Soundman on this, also check out avsforum...EVERYONE tells everyone else to get the Hsu Research sub. Some of the threads over in that forum are 15k posts long with 500k+ plus views. (No lie)
