In tune with the way people enjoy their favorite music today, Klipsch designed the iFi? system to make the popular Apple® iPod® experience sound better than ever.

This ?plug and play? setup, made exclusively for iPod fans, works with all dockable iPods, including the iPod Mini and iPod photo. Whether it's used in a bedroom or as the primary home audio system, listeners will experience their digital music library in audiophile-quality Klipsch sound.

This 2.1 configuration comes with two unobtrusive Klipsch Reference Series RSX-3 satellites, a dedicated subwoofer, docking station and radio frequency remote.

Each self-standing or wall-mountable RSX-3 is a two-way, magnetically shielded speaker that employs a 3.5-inch aluminum woofer and a 0.75-inch titanium dome compression driver coupled to an exclusive round MicroTractrix? Horn.

The 8-inch subwoofer, designed specifically for this system, has a built-in Class D amplifier that distributes 200 watts of peak system power to successfully drive all the channels. It also features a slot port and line level input. A unique tuning approach is used to achieve a sound character typically found in much larger subwoofer boxes.

The radio frequency remote can send signals through walls and floors and up to six remotes can be used to control the iFi and a docked iPod from virtually anywhere in the home.

Available in a silver finish, that nicely complements Apple hardware, the stylish iFi also allows the iPod to charge as it plays so listeners can enjoy their favorite songs without interruption.

Nice speakers + remote+ desk where there is no computer


<--cannot have comptuer at his desk or he get absolutely nothing done. That said, My stereo is two-dead-body-lengths away so I wouldn't need this, but still nice for someone in their "study."

Just so you know I not trying to be IPOD biased here...

I jsut bought those for my dad a while back as a motivational gift for him (he is not doing well ) ..and they kick ass, not to mention they are absolutely gorgeous.

i wish klipsch made a one piece system for the ipod. i needed something one piece so i can move it between rooms fairly easily. i would have paid $300+ for a klipsch system. i like the bose sounddock but not for $300. therefore i just bought a jbl onstage for $120 which doesnt sound as good as the bose, but the price is a far better deal.

Because you have a Mac. Mac users don't use 3.5mm plugs, that's complicated Windows crap. If you WERE you plug in speakers, it wouldn't be in a 3.5mm port, it would be in an iCutePort.

You would pay $300 for a one piece speaker thingy that couldn't help but be craptacular, no matter who made it?
