any reviews on this?
I couldn't agree with you more. I had the KLH sub from Costco and the amp on it died about 1 day before my 30-day option to return this thing expired. From the KLH, I went to the Sony SA-WM40, which was a better sub. However, I paid $199 + tax for it as Sears. About a week later, I picked up an AudioSource SW-15 for $155 - delivered from an auction. Needless to say, the Sony was returned and I've never looked back. Given my experience with the KLH, it might be OK for $80, but I would never pay $150 - $170 for this same sub at Best Buy. The Sony is a better deal, though, if you can scrape together a few more $$.Originally posted by: clarkmo
Sign up at MySony.com and you'll get 1500 points. It's easy to get to 2000 points. (Let me refer you and I'll get 50 😉 ). I'm at 1910 now and it's just a matter of entering contests and clicking on links. Why do this? Cause then you can get the Sony SA-WM40 12" sub for $125 shipped. This is by far, the most reviewed sub at Audioreview.com and at this price, it is a steal. Not to crap on your thread, but many of the reviews mention build quality and muddy sound for the KLH, while going on to mention it is a great buy at the price. The SA-WM40 is universally praised for music and movies. my 2 cents.
