Hi,

Do you guys think the reason for the KK266 multiplier problem may be the result of a not-completely-jumperless FSB. Since you have to change a jumper to boot at 133MHZ fsb over the 100Mhz default, the CPU is inialized at (multiplier)x(133). i've heard that this initialization occurs at the CPU's default multipier. In otherwords, your computer may not post because it's booting at 12x133 instead of at the lower multiplier that you may have set it to.

Do you guys think this is the reason for the multiplier problems on some KT133A boards, and if so, how would be a good way to eliminate the problem?

Cheers,

Simon
