Note: I realize that's not the real slogan but I confused it with Trix one and my friend never let me live it down.

They're good but you have to be careful to keep them in a dry place. The coating tends to pick up moisture and make them stale and chewy. I think I actually prefer plain cherrios over kix

That would probably taste pretty good. Unfortunately, I don't eat strawberries, when it is in fruit form. I like most strawberry flavored things, but I don't like the texture of an actual strawberry! :)

Grew up on Sugar smacks, Count Chocula, Lucky Charms and Coco Puffs. I ate Kix and Honeycombs occasionally, but they weren't my first choice.

Now I'm partial to Raisin Bran and Kashi

Yuck. Never liked it as a kid, can't stand it now. Bland, plain tasting crap that tastes worse than the box it comes in.
Gimme cereal with some real flavor!
(but no sugar-y kids' cereals.)

I HATED cereal as a kid but could stomach Kix if absolutely necessary. It was among the few cereals that I would ever eat along with frosted mini-wheats and reese's.

When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.

Seriousry, all that heavily branded cereal is for ze birds (the coo coo for Cocoa Puffs bird). It's just subsisized sugar and crap stuffed in a box and flogged for a gajillion times its value. If wanting of cereal so badly, slap together some friggin' muesli and sugar as desir'd.

I completely forgot about Kix. That was a weird cereal. Didn't taste sweet, but wasn't exactly bland either. Just...odd.

I always thought it tasted just a wee bit sweet. I'm not sure what it was that made me think so but I liked it quite a bit.
