I'm allergic to full-grown cats, but not kittens or outdoor cats (I have one). It's pretty weird.

cats learn most of their social skills by 2months. These cats look about that (hard to tell though by a picture, a weight around 2lbs or so is a good indicator).

Many 'feral' cats grow up to make terrible pets if found as adults. If you get the kittens young you can teach them to not be wild. There are tons of agencies trying to get these cats young and into homes as the feral cats are a leading contributor to cat overpopulation.

Just do what my roommate is doing (I'm allergic) get the cat anyways and look at getting other animals for the appartment that will end up destroying things all the while saying they won't bother him, oh and don't pay any attention to the fact that the animal might not bother his allergies as much if you say confined the cat to one area of the house (someplace that has tile preferably) because we all know that cats should be given complete and total rule of a house, even at the expense of those that pay rent. Just don't expect said cat not to dissappear.

I think you're right about their age. We'll get them socialized in a couple of weeks, I expect - they can see the invisible "Cat lover" sign on my husband's forehead, plus he'll bribe them with food/milk. Once they're able to be comfortable around us, we'll get them to the vet for spay/neutering. We've had 23 done in the last year - I thought we were done! Aaaaaaaagh!

Smack dab in the middle of Kansas. Come on over, we've got two with that coloring, but the other one isn't as brave. Also a short-hair all-black kitten, the orange one in the first two pics, and one that looks like Mama Cat.
