Kitten update.. PICS!

The sad news is that the white kitten didn't make it I guess. 🙁 I'm not sure what happened to it.. it just stopped comming to eat..

The good news.. is that I caught the orange kitten, and we have successfully tamed the wild beast! 😉

It took about 3 days. She was NOT happy when I trapped her(using a live animal trap).. stuck her in the bathroom with food, water & litter. She quickly found a suitable "hiding" spot in an empty cupboard cubby.

Everytime you would peek in there, she would hiss.. lol.. so I was always afraid to stick my hand close to her, and she was still too afraid to eat out of your hand.

The other day, I finally spent about an hour with my hand held out.. she finally came and ate.. after she ate the first handful, I got her a second.. and while she was eating that I reached up and finally pet her.

She was soooo happy when I started to pet her, lol.. frantically, she would turn around in circles, eat some food, push into your hand, eat some more food, turn in circles... lol... it was cute. 😉

Today, I spent 40$ on a real litter pan, a brush, kitty bath wipes, a kitty bed, kitty vitamins and some toys.. hehe

These pics are from the last few days, before I cleaned her up with the wipes.. she was pretty dirty, it made a big difference. She had no mommy to teacher her how to clean.. lol

Unhappy kitten the first day I caught her, hiding in her little cubby... making friends with the plunger.

Yeah, there was this cat that looked like a lynx in my driveway. Ran like one, too. It was cool.

Yep, I plan on it.

There's a Petsmart right down the street from me, and they have a vetrinary clinic. Dunno though, might be expensive.

In a few months you're gonna be having a lot of fun when you realise just how much fur a long-haired cat has. 😛

I rescued a kitten that looked a lot like that one about a year and a half ago and it seems as though he's 10% cat and 90% fur. Adorable little scamp though, he's most entertaining. 😀
