Some things are better off left alone, where they were. This is one of those cases.

McGyver was a good show on all accounts. It wasn't cheesy and had genuine ingenuity revolving around a solo investigator. Jack Bauer should tip his hat to the original.

I wonder when they will bring back Hawaii Five O or The Rockford Files?

Lets not forget Barnaby Jones.

A remake of the Beverly Hillbillies would be cool as well, especially if they could get Larry The Cable Guy in the cast :)

okay, get this idea... Why not combine the basic concept for 4 or 5 hit shows into one new show!

We have a really really smart guy who served in the 1st Iraq war, he was accused of some crime he didn't commit and now the Army is after him. He's so smart, he builds a talking car... Then he hires himself and the car out as mercenaries to fight crime. He hires 3 blond sidekicks that he calls his angels. And two quirks about him are: he's bald, and he likes suckers. (Kojak reference for those not quite old enough) If that's not enough, then when he gets mad, he turns into a big blue former football player who rips his shirt off, but still fits inside his pants.

Of course they'll have Kitt, but they better have Karr in there. Adding a new girl car named Katt with the voice of that blonde girl on "My name is Earl"........ Kepping that accent intact of course

They're going to "Battlestar Galactica-ize" the show, making it darker, grittier, and meaner. They won't have any goodie-two-shoes guy running around in a sidekick car anymore...they're probably going to make it more realistic or fit today's audience.

Also, they said the new series will have an initial plot where several sentient cars run amok. Could be interesting.
