Nvidia Corp. has quietly added GeForce GTX 965M graphics adapter into its drivers. The listing of the graphics solution could mean that the new graphics processing unit is already shipping to notebook PC makers and may be unveiled shortly. Theoretically, it could also mean that desktop version of the product – the long-awaited GeForce GTX 960 – is also approaching the market.

The list of supported graphics cards of Nvidia GeForce drivers version 344.77 WHQL includes previously unannounced GeForce GTX 965M (Nvidia device ID 13D9, NVIDIA_DEV.13D9) as well as N16P-GX (Nvidia device ID 139B, NVIDIA_DEV.139B) graphics adapters, which are based on Nvidia GM204 and Nvidia GM107 graphics processors, respectively (based on their chip IDs – 13D and 139).

Still can't believe Nvidia didn't release the 960 for the holiday season. Makes you wonder if they gimped it really bigtime and got scared off from the price drops on the R9 290s (which seem dead right about now).

Or because cards like GTX970 sells much better than expected.
