Kitchen Stuff: Olive Oil flask/cruet

Why not just keep it in a bottle in the cupboard? It'll go bad much faster if you leave it in a clear bottle exposed to the light.

I have one, but I just have it filled with cheap oil for decoration. After sitting for about 6 months the oil becomes practically clear from being damaged by UV.

Go to Bed Bath & Beyond?

Surely they have a huge selection.

Tried - nothing that fits the bill (meaning, nothing the wife liked - she wants one just like the one she broke).

The wife likes having it out. It's the only oil we use for cooking, and we go through it in far less time than it'd take to go bad.

Olive oil normally comes in glass bottles. Might wanna try those.

We very much like the quality and price of Costco's olive oil. Comes in plastic.

[oil snob] Cooking with extra virgin oil? :colbert: [/oil snob]

sur la table is great. we always visit the store when we drive to salt lake, the closest place to get anything not Walmart.

being a real man means cooking a great meal once in a while, without the help of others or recipes. a real man can patch his own pants too.

Buy a crock of Tullamore Dew. You get a pretty decent Irish Whiskey, and the crock is good for oil.
