Other than the lack of light, I like it. I prefer a crapton of light in my kitchen (or at least the option of a crapton of light) so I can see any/all dirt.

I am just about finished with a complete remodel of my kitchen. We went with a cabinet from a company called Truwood (100% real maple, gentle close doors/drawers), got Quartz countertops, 20" porcelain tile for the floor, and new SS appliances.

I just have the backsplash left to do. Total cost is about $21k so far.

Look good man, nice work. I've seen the Ikea kitchens in the store all of the time and always wondered what they look like in a real place. I guess the answer is they look quite good.

Wait a second. You rent and renovated the kitchen? Why on earth would anyone sink that kind of money into a place you don't own???
I'd like to renovate the kitchen... the tenants who lived here before me basically trashed the place, and a new fridge/stove were needed (I didn't pay for them) but that's about all that was done.

Oh ok, my bad. I thought you were implying that you did something similar. I was going to say!
