Kitchen appliance recomendations

An LG refrigerator destroyed my wood floor because they routed a plastic ice maker water line over the hot exhaust. It got brittle, cracked, and flooded my first floor.

Never, ever again.

If I was going for new, I would go for the Kitchen aid branded stuff. I buy my appliances for a fraction of the new cost on craigslist or similar. We have sub zero 48 in fridge, Dacor duel fuel range and kitchen aid dishwasher in our current kitchen. I did buy a new built in microwave from Summit.

We have a fairly new LG fridge, Dacor range and kitchen aid dishwasher in our rental as well. No problems with them.
