I just noticed Kinsey comes out on DVD this Tuesday. If, like me, you didn't get to see it in theaters, here's your chance. (No word on when it will be released to cable.)

I would have bumped the old thread ('Kinsey' draws ire ), but it's archived. It was an eye-opener to me. I really didn't know much about Kinsey before. When I saw all the frothing hatred from the usual zealots, I had to find out why they were so driven to smear the man. Wonder no more. He was a major force in getting America out of the sexual dark ages.

Why don't you look up the method they used to come up with these statistics instead of floating Bull Sh!t allegations of molestation or concocted results? Great movie. This guy is a hero because he took on evil-doers like riprorin to take sexuality into modern times. Before him there was no science to contradict the idiotic and unhealthy beliefs a lot of zealots have and want to push on all of us.

Can you answer my question, a question that is the very heart of my OP? Kinsey threatens your ignorant, Puritan repression of sexuality, thus undermining the Church's control of its flock. I get that. What I don't get is how people like you, people who claim to follow Christ, can turn your back on Him to wage such campaigns of lies and hate. How do you rationalize such un-Christian behavior?

I don't expect you to really answer my question, of course. You never do. If there is a God, however, someday you will have to answer to Him. If you truly believe in Christ, you must believe that you will someday stand before the Book of Life. How are you going to justify to God the ways you've perverted His words, and the hurtful things you've done in His name? How do you plan to evade His judgment?
