In my experience, it actually works pretty well...however, the Value Ram is a mixed bag. As in, they just use whatever ram chips they currently have stock of...so, it is possible to get a "just ok" stick, or even a very high-quality stick. It's for this reason(mixing of ram chip models/brands) that they are not advertised as being dual-channel capable. However, most people have had a good experience running them in dual-channel. So, it's sort of a gamble.

I for one am very happy with my stick of KVR that I own. It's definitely one of the best choices for the price.

Wow, thats alot, here, if you don't mind ordering off the net

512 Ram

I think it is like $77.50 for 1 stick, and you can get 2 for $150.00 and then shipping...i don't know, but it would not be that much

EDIT : And they do ship to Canada, which I live, and this is the RAM I will be getting

KVR is fine RAM, just don't expect it to overclock like crazy, that's not what it's for.

I bought some valueram for my brother, it's really good if you don't need any overclocking

$229 CDN for 1 gig!! It says DUAL CHANNEL, but i don't know if it is

If you don't need dual channel, canadacomputers.com is selling single 512 MB DDR400 corsair value select sticks for $92 ($89 on boxing day), so 184 for a gig. the corsair stuff is really excellent
