Kingston Technology 256MB Secure Digital Card - SD Card - SD/256 $23.99 AR

hey, mine is still on order from the previous previous "deal of the day" sale buy.com did...
Hehe, tell me about it. I had one on order, and it was still on order when they dropped the price further, so I just cancelled and reordered. Saved myself like $10, and will only have to wait another 3 months to receive it, j/k. 🙂

Buy.com is horrible like that. I ordered a printer, they told me "they are still looking"; I got one at Officemax; came home, the printer was delivered.

For grins, I left a pair of wireless Dreamcast contollers on order for 10 months 🙂 They finally did come! Couldn't believe it!

Hmm...Maybe I'd be better off just finding it somewhere else, then. The rebate for the card says that it has to be postmarked within 14 days of purchase, not within 14 days of delivery. Knowing my luck they wouldn't honor it because it took forever to ship.

I found this thread for a Viking 256MB card. It's got a slightly slower transfer rate, I think, and it's $2 more. But I think it's well worth it to avoid dealing with Buy.com.

wish i'd known this before; my order showed the same thing for three or four days. but at least my order shows complete now:

Shipped on 7/19/2004 via FedEx Ground Service

so hopefully the rebate will be honored.
