The Seagate 240GB 600-series Pro SSD for $119.99 at TD is a better deal, both price/GB, and speed-wise.

But if you want to go cheap and crappy, that's not a horrible price for that Kingston. (But with async NAND, it won't even saturate SATAII speeds, most likely, for compressed data.)

If you want the cheapest 120gb ssd you can find to speed up boot times, this is not a bad choice. It does not even compare to the performance of the higher end ssd's (or its own performance claims, for that matter). The cheap NAND cripples this drive for read/write performance, and you should not even look at it against the Samsungs or Crucials of the world. That being said, a large percentage of people only really notice the benefit of an SSD because of its lightening fast response times, so this may not matter to you.

(For anyone considering this and unaware of the many disappointed customers when they silently switched to cheaper NAND, do an internet search or read Amazon reviews to get more info).

From what I've read, the drives made in Taiwan are superior due to the better NAND used.

Why aren't 64gb SSDs $35 to $40 yet? :(

The Kingston is a lukewarm price at best based the chance that you'll get one with asynchronous NAND

I think they are phasing out the smaller drives. Too small.

PNY XLR8 120G 59.99 & "free shipping today" @ TigerDirect.

Don't buy an SSD till you need one the way prices are going.
