V200 isn't recommended for laptops due to the (relatively) high power consumption.

Edit:
Also, performance is closer to SATA2 SSDs.

True. These drives had some major performance issues on earlier firmware. Supposedly 256GB only comes with latest firmware. They are SATA 6G pretty much in name only. Writes have super low IOPS (4000) compared to any other current drive.

Might as well pay a little and get the Kingston HyperX 3K that's on sale on Newegg.
