I've been sifting through the messages and it appears that this memory will work in dual channel mode?

I'm not really looking to overclock, but just for something stable.

Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G (It's a kit consisting of qty 2 512mb modules)

Am I correct in assuming this will work as dual as well as single?

Is there anything special that I must do to ensure maximum stability and performance or is it simply plug it in and go?

CPU is a Intel 2.6CGHZ Retail with 800MHZ FSB and Hyperthreading.

Thanks in advance!

i've got kingston 512 sticks in 2 changes for the dual chanel. They are both 512 of the pc2700 333 stuff. so you plug that intot he name and then you have like a c25x64 or something. Anyway... very stable. I'm oced from 2.5 to 3.

I'm running Kingston HyperX PC3200 (2pack 2/256) in my non OC'd P4P800 and it works great. I think that buying the dual pack kit is a good idea since both are certian to be the same. Just make sure that you plug it into the correct slots to operate in dual channel mode. The manual has this info.. When you boot up, you should see a line that tells you it is operating in dual channel mode.

That's what I have running in my P4P800 Deluxe and a 2.6c. I don't overclock. It's very stable.

Yes it will, you need 2 sticks to run in dual mode.

It will accept 4 x 512 meg sticks if you have them. ;)
