Warning, it's a BIG rebate though.

If you're looking for some cheap 8gb DDR3, this is the best deal that's been around since the Crucial Ballistix. Timings aren't great (10-10-10@1600MHz), and they're red, but other than that, it's a 2x8 1600MHz kit for cheap.

Apparently you have to do TWO $30 rebates (it's $30 per DIMM, for some reason these are sold as a pair, but the rebate is per stick ).

Price is $129.99 - $60 MIR = $69.99

That rebate is horrible, but otherwise, this seems like a pretty decent deal (unless you are a Crip)

I've had good success with TD rebates in the past, they tend to take awhile but I've gotten them every time. My concern though for this deal is that you have to send in 2 rebates for the same kit, unless there are 2 UPCs for the kit, or they are wrapped individually with a UPC for each, I'd be concerned about having to send in a copied UPC even if TD states the rebate needs to be sent in this way.

I'd definitely make copies of everything and take screenshots of the pricing/rebate section of the webpage, just to be safe.

Otherwise good price on 2x8GB kit, definitely the cheapest I've seen DDR3 8GB DIMMs for a few months before the big price hike. Personally not going to chance it though, have plenty of DDR3 atm.

Edit: Nm according to Newegg, their 2x8GB kit ends with /16 and 1x8GB kit ends with /8, this ends with /8 so it is going to be 2x 8GB sticks individually wrapped with their own UPC. Deal should be safe if you want to sit on a $60 rebate for 3-4 months.
