B@st@rds only shipped me 1 but billed me for 2 also. CSR says out of stock but will issue a credit for the missing one. Riiiiiight... methinks the price will be higher when they do come back in stock. :| :| :|

Running out of stock is one thing but not even finding the order in the first place is unacceptable. I liked outpost for their super cheap overnight shipping but that's was ridiculous. What if newegg did that to everyone.. i doubt they'd have a great reseller rating for long.

When i called them to see if my order shipped, the CSR said they had 117 orders and only 55 sticks, I asked about my sticks and explained how bad i needed them, and he went down and filled the order himself.

Luckely the CSR recognized my name from xtremesytems!!! All of the sticks i bought were accounted for. I bought a load of them last year also!!!

Everyone will get some, they just have to get them from me now!!! 🙂 And i usually buy way more than that if i could!!!! You would not believe what these are worth overseas!!!

Um you are missing the point, it isn't a hot deal if you go off and sell them at inflated prices for your own greedy purposes. You should be banned not from posting but from reading the hot deals.

I've been banned 3 times before, one more time wouldnt make a difference. I've been on here since 2000. I troll all the stores daily, that's how i make most of my $$, buy and sell. The deals forums are nice, but i find them anyway. I buy 5 dell systems per week based on deals @ gotapex, 10 cpu's at least. and just as many HD's.

I've bought as many as 100 sticks of memory when crucial dropped the bottom out of the market years ago and put a few companies out of business, Paid $26 per stick of 256, then a month later, the taiwan earthquake, shot memory prices for 256 over $100.

Me buying 40 sticks is nothing. if the company doesnt have many, then you might as well be linking to ebay!!!!

it's like people on here that post a hot deal on a newegg refurb that there are only 2 of them. outpost filled my order because i spend a lot there monthly, Simple as that when i called. he checked my account and said "DAM"!!!

I spend sometime $10k a monthl, i've got a small computer shop, i stock up when there's a deal. Im also a power seller on ebay. $5k minimum sales per month.

I guess i should worry about the other guy, Im sorry!!! Im so sorry!!! Really so sorry!!!

I have to wonder how you treat your customers...

I think Anandtecher's (and there are alot of us) should go out of our way to make sure potential customers know what you're about. You clearly won't get any business from here.

Looks like they've been back ordered for a while and you can bet your pretty penny's that they won't be bh-5 this time around. I have seen in other forums that a lot of ppl got used sticks =/
 
yeah well...if you really want some of this stuff, be nice to the guy and see if he might cut ya a good deal...maybe he'll feel like being nice to a fellow AATer and give it to ya close to cost...i just sent him an email

EDIT: email just bounced...tedinde sell me 2X256 of that ram...or someone else...whoever...i need BH-5 damnit!
