I've been on the phone with them twice and still haven't been able to get the rebate form (they say that they'll email it to me, but never do).

Has anyone been able to get the rebate form - if so, I'd really appreciate a link.

w00t perfect to go with my X800 GTO2 that will be arriving on monday. Gotta love 2day shipping for <$1.00 more. Course they ship via Airborne (=DHL) -- they suck

THEY TRICKED US!!!

they put the rebat elink up from earlier this week, but did not allow the link to work until TODAY the 7th. If you look at the rebate you will see that its not active until the 7th.

Therefore, them putting up the link to the rebate earlier this week was just BAIT to get people to bite only to findout the rebate is not valid for the time they purchased the product.

ah well, my chips should be here in a few mins give or take. I'll call and complain when I am up and running DDR500

Hmm. The rebate form says "Kingston ValueRam" but the ram is HyperX. Not the same right? The PLU matches though.

EDIT: Ooops, that is a new one :( (10/7 - 10/18)

Pain in the ass. I ordered it on the ... wait, on the 7th!!!! @ 4am w00t w00t. But the link to the rebate was not working when i ordered, so i filled out my address for them to send me a rebate form. I'll scan and post that when it comes if it is different than the PDF. Course $99 for this ram by itself is a good deal, let alone the $10 MIR. Remember people you only have 14 days from day of purchase to send this in!

got my ram installed. So far not so good. Sucks. My pc2100 crucial value ram was better than this. Definately not performing to spec. more experimentation is required however

EDIT: IT WORKS NOW! GOOD TOO!

This hyper x is #KHX3200AK2/1GR, same timings but what does the R means?

Samething there as someone pointed out on fw just no UPC but since there is no rebate dont hink that should matter

If the R means what the poster above says is it means, how can you apply for the rebate without a UPC?

WTF is up with that site? Retail but no UPC... Wouldnt touch that with a 10-ft pole

Moving on. Got mine yesterday (delivered a day early, go figure), its full Retail packaging with a UPC. $10 here I come.

If you need some memory, jump on this deal! As Kristopher pointed out the same thing elsewhere is at least $80 more! Holy Hotness!!

Something that kills this for me is that the rebate limit is 1 per household whereas the Outpost website states Limit 5 per household...sigh.

You rock. I called their customer service department two nights ago, and they couldn't find any rebate but the old one and suggested calling a supervisor in the morning to get a $10 credit. I hate being on hold, so I hadn't gotten to that yet!

Does anyone have any experience with these?

Any idea which would be better (these GEIL or the Kingston HYPERX) in a P4C800E-deluxe?

thks

I've purchased Geil in the past, they are idiots about their warranty. I sell only Kingston at my store and use it in my own systems, so I'm accustomed to Kingston just letting me return bad memory the very few times I come across it with no questions asked (maybe a few) but GEIL made me dig through invoices to find the one with theirs on it. It was 2 years old (sat on a shelf), so it wasn't easy to find. AND the warranty doesn't transfer... you have to be the original purchaser.

Geil is not better in any way, and not worth the hassle should something go wrong.

EDIT: The same GEIL stick I mention above wouldn't work in an Intel branded mobo (915GAG) that I tried to install it in. Kingston HyperX worked like a charm.
