Kingston 512MB Secure Digital Card for $5.50-$6.49 at AMAZON

AMAZON has a great price on the 512MB kingston SD card!

reason the title has 2 prices is that EMartBuyUSA sells it for $5.50 (but charges around $8 for shipping) and Amazon sells it for $6.49 (with free shipping if you have prime or spend at least $25)!

so for either $5.50 or $6.49 you get a great SD card!

ugh. shipping kills it. I tried to add 5 to my cart. went to checkout and say $39 in shipping costs...

Did you make sure you added the ones from amazon on the right, not the $5.50 ones. Also, make sure you check free shipping during the checkout process.

Right in the item description, it says:
"Special Shipping Information: This item is not eligible for FREE Super Saver Shipping. Incurs a shipping charge of $7.99."

I guess I assumed it would be eligible. I just tried it and you are correct, no free shipping.

Not meant as a thread crap but a much better deal (IMO) for a Kingston 1GB 50X card just ended at Outpost.com yesterday. See: http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4621678?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Through 8/28 there was a $16 MIR on this one, giving a net cost of $9 with free shipping and no tax for most states.

Mine just arrived yesterday and I mailed the rebate this morning.

Outpost also just recently had and STILL has an OCZ 1GB 150X SD slightly cheaper than the Kingston 50X. See: http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4953431?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG It is $20 with a $12 MIR. The rebate ends today but the listing has the "Call for availability" caveat so likely one can't get in on this deal. I got it too. Just mailed in the rebate on this one today too...

My point is that there are some VERY good deals available now days on flash memory.

Sorry -- Guess I should have posted these here, but both have been on FW for some time... The up side is, there will no doubt be more and quite possibly better deals in the near future.

Bill.
