Kingston 512MB Elite Pro SD card $30 AR

$15 Rebate... I wish... it's actually a $13 rebate...
click the link.

I got SUCKERED into BUY.COM again and ordered 1 of these.

Buy.com is:

- Da##n Slow to ship

- Da##n Slow to process a Lost in Shipment request... took 10 days
just like their site says.

- Da##n Foreign CS reps when you call them. They've outsourced
their reps. Barely "Speaky Eeengleesh".

Not again..

 😀

I got a kingmax 66x from newegg for $39 no rebates.
I get 74x read and 47x write when testing tranferring one large 100MB video.
Then I tried transferring 120MB worth of pics, and I got 120x!!!!
Anyone own this card?

wow, High speed. Have you ever used it in some digital camera?

Ordered two of these from newegg, they had the same offer running last week. Good little cards for the money, my Kodak DX6490 says it can fit 391 pictures at 4.1MP resoultion (~2300x1700) No real way to test the speed, the burst fire on mine is only 6 frames, and the res isn't high enough to really test throughput.

how do these compare to Panasonic SD cards? I own a panasonic and its mighty fast. I also own a Toshiba card which are complete crap. I want a fast card and feel i can only trust Panasonic since i know for a fact those are fast. could someone check the back of their SD card and check where it is made. Made In Japan are usually said to be fast and might be made by Panasonic. I use these cards in my PDA so when i check information about the card it says the Manufacturer there. If anyone could check on this i would be very grateful.
