I'd avoid kingston's rebate like the plague. I bought this few weeks ago and they made me jump through hoops to get my rebate.

intially claimed invalid postmark.

before they used to be easy but have gotten difficult as of late.

Thanks for the heads-up.
I think the fact that the rebate form link is dead may be a ominous sign. If its a pain just to download the form...

I'm not a memory expert, but I own both this (2 sticks) and the Corsair, and prefer the Corsair (although the Kingston is solid.) That said, Anandtech did a review on value RAM and this came up recommended (for the price, and functionality) - you can look for a link on this site. As for the rebate, I did find a working link for this on one of the other deal sites - I'll try and find it and post it - it looked fine date-wise.

i'm 3 for 3 in Kingston HyperX rebates... the Corsair 1gb kit is dropping everyday though... hmmm...
