I have yet to get a stick of Kingston PC2100 that doesn't do PC2700 at CAS 2.5, 3-6-3 timings at stock (2.5v) voltage; obviously higher if you want to push it. 😉

I've researched this in length, the FW thread has lots of info.. There is a $15 MFR rebate bringing this to $5 cash back scanned there.

Top of $15
Bottom of $15
Top of $18
Bottom of $18
Top of $20
Bottom of $20

This is from a google.
PC2700 CL2.5 256MB led328TA-6 32Mx8 DDR-7-T LEI8DDT1848 REV A infineon-T
asakura1 ddr page
The memory has DDR-7-T on it.

I'm sorry I didn't start a thread on it.. thought one of the other threads mentioned it.

How do you go about telling the BIOS to run the memory at 2400 instead of 2100 in the BIOS? can all motherboards (dell specifically) do this?

wow, it's been awhile since there's been a ram deal. thanks! friend is in need of more ram. he couldnt stand running winxp on 256megs.

I just picked this up locally (last one at the 5 stores I called in the East Cleveland suburbs) and I noticed a potential problem on the receipt. The $18 rebate that printed in-store says "Purchase must be made between 11/22 and 12/27/03 check store for dates". The $18 rebate .pdf linked above says it's for purchases made between 12/28/03 and 01/03/04. I'm guessing I should use the .pdf version and not the one that printed in the store in order to minimize the possibility of getting hosed?

Also, can someone confirm which rebate needs the original UPC? I understand it to be
$18 MIR = original UPC
$20 MIR = copy of UPC

Oh, and for ww4397: the rebate that printed states a limit of 1 per customer/household.

Thanks,
-Brett.

$18 rebate .pdf says that "copies of the upc will be accepted if in conjunction with a manufacturers rebate".

I'd like to see that third rebate form ($15) show up as a scan or pdf.

Oops! EDIT: both the $18 and $20 rebate forms will take a UPC copy. The 3rd rebate, B&M only $15 form, needs the original. Be nice if it would show up online, for Triiiiiiiiple rebates.

Chauzer from FW hosted them, I provided them.. Sorry I didn't give credit before (He's at USCD)
There is a limit one per household, however if you have a friend in a different household who buys a stick on a diff reciept...

bhaney: My $18 rebate for form says 12/28/03 to 1/24/03. (See link). Could you recheck/scan your form? (or type the promo code?

Replay, look up to a earlier post, I sent the UPC with the $15.. IMHO that's the mfr.. On my reciepts it is the only without the line accepting copies, and goes to a diff address.

at my local B&M received three rebate forms. used the original upc for the kingston rebate of 18 the add offered, a upc copy for the 20 om the add offered, and another upc copy for the unexpected 15 rebate. two appear to be kingston, so the 15 may get kicked back, but was only expecting the two rebates anyway, so if third flies it's a bonus. Both Kingston rebates going to Miami PO's but different boxes, so we shall see what we shall see.

Going to send UPC copies for the $18 and $20. If nothing better shows up for the $15 I will print that scanned store rebate, cut off the top, and send it in with the original UPC.

Still hope to see that $15 form show up for online submission, or in a clean pdf online.

Good luck on getting the OM rebate (not the Kingston). I'm on the phone now still trying to get a July submission to OM for the same memory stick. It was a similar deal with rebates from Kingston and OM. Got the Kingston rebate OK.

I've done maybe half a dozen Kingston/OM RAM rebates, and all of them have come through with no problems.

Just hung up w/OM rebate center. I finally had to ask for a supervisor because the first two reps I talked with either I couldn't understand them or they couldn't help me w/my problem.

They're going to process my $10 rebate today. The form I submitted didn't have an offer no. or dept. no. on it. I got the form from the OM rebate booklet so I don't know if all the OM rebates for that product had the same problem or not. Can't believe they haven't been inundated w/calls from others w/similar plight. Will have check in 4-6 weeks.

Said my check would show the rebate being for a different product and that they were doing this as a courtesy.

Tanks, Clayman. 512 DDR for 20 bux, schweet
Anybody ever have any luck with a tardy OM rebate? Me partner blew off a $25 OM rebate on the 120 gig hard drive.
I just dropped it in the mail at 16 days, rebate says postmarked by 14 days. Oh well, for 37 cents, it's worth a try!

No scanner available, but the info on receipt is as follows:
Rebate Offer Number: 00166
Rebate Description: 256 MB MEMORY
Rebate Amount: 18.00

The receipt is dated 13/30, but the terms and conditions makes it sound like it's for purchases b/t 11/22 and 12/27. I'm just going to try the other form they handed me (not from the booklet they had, this was a 1 page sheet of normal paper with 5 "Holiday 2003 Cash Offers" on it, and there's an $18 MIR on there...
