Is this a type I or or Type II card? Dell's site says Type I in the description and the spec's say type II. I can't find anything on Kingstons site stating what type it is.

(should get out of the habbit of reading threads backward. was going to point to dpreview's CF review, but that's been done already)

I placed an order but it didn't show up in Order History yet. Is it for anyone else?
I had to change my email address, but I didn't change it till after submitting the order so I'm wondering if they deleted mine when the email bounced.

Spoofee stole the deal that I stole from techbargains. That ain't right ... they should find their own deals rather than steal deals that others have rightfully stolen.

how do u know techbargains didn' tsteal the deal from him?

there are many, many deal boards out there ^_^

At 9:00 PM Wednesday night, I got my acknowledgment e-mail from Dell that I had placed my order. I called today to see why my order had not been processed. I got bumped around about 4 or 5 times from person to person, but finally found out why it had not been ordered yet. It seems that adding the screw to the order has caused a problem. If you placed an order, and they don't send you a conformation soon, you may give them a call. My total was $109.97.

Dell is really bad about confirmations.

I ordered this thing and I got nothing for a week. Then I get a LETTER saying that I should be receiving the card in 3 weeks! But the card came a few days after I got the letter.

I don't really know what the deal with the screw was... All I can tell you is the rep. said that there were a whole bunch of orders for this item, and we(those of us who placed the orders) added to screw to make it $150.00. He said that when we did that, it messed them up. He removed the screw from my order, and placed it and I still got my $25.00 off. The number I called was 1-800-915-3355. I don't remember the options I used, but I think I ended up talking to the sales department. All I know is, at one point in time, I was about ready to reach across the phone and smack some of the CSR's.

wWould you guys consider this a deal now that the $25 off 150 is expired? Oh, and they also raised the price a little. I got in this thread a day late but still considering it.

thanks

:disgust:
I ran into the same issue with no "confirmation" email. After talking to a sales rep for 10 minutes, the order was suddenly "acknowledged". I have the feeling that if you don't call, you won't get your order. It seems that dealing with Dell is getting to be more of a challenge everyday. My other issue is trying to get a price adjustment credit since October. After being told three times that it would be issued and never seeing the credit, I found out that it was denied. They never called or emailed me, after waiting for over three months I think they could have let me know so I could escalate. Maybe I'll get on the bandwagon and order a ton of the 5 cent screws.:disgust:
