So Newegg's got this Kingston SSDNow V300 Series SV300S37A/120G
Originally 109.99, now with a promo code (EMCYTZT3568) it is -$10 -but- there is also a MIR for $20 so effectively you could get it for 79.99!

I believe both the promo code and MIR are only for today 6/10.

Personally I am considering it, though I am researching how good this SSD is for performance etcetera. Might be good for a family member. Feel free to chip in with info / experiences.

I got one of these for this price from OfficeMax a few weeks ago. I put it in a $225 laptop, and its a perfect match. It actually boots faster than my Desktop (with a Samsung 830) did when it has W7 installed.

Over all I'm very happy with it. It comes with a eSATA dock and mirroring software too.

It comes with an eSATA dock? Sure it's not USB? If so I gotta check out my nearest OfficeMax.

That I was kind of not sure about either after I (just) ordered it myself. I hope so, but I guess there will be only one way to find out. Otherwise I will just have to pick up some mounting bracket/cables later.

Edit: In the 'details' tab it states under features: "Convenient - all-in-one kits with all the components for easy installation"

From a review 5/22: Note: this is just the SSD drive no connections, no discs, no wires... Comes in a plastic shelf container not the box.

Yes, that review made me have my doubts, but some other reviews (yes, older) state otherwise. Information is a bit conflicting, since as I said the features talks about installation components. We will see soon hopefully!

Update: It is indeed just the SSD card, no mounting/enclosure added or cables. Just a plastic retail package.

Still a good deal in my book however! Now I will just have to figure out how I'm going to improvise with this or where to get an enclosure.
