Kingston 1 gig (2 x 512) pc3200 valueram

Have not dealt with rebates from Outpost.com before. Hard for me to tell if this rebate is an outpost.com rebate or from Kingston. Are outpost.com/Fry's rebates typically OK? Thanks for the help. Chad
 
I figured I'd bump this for the last day of the rebate. You can still qualify for the $40 rebate if you purchase today.

I need another GB of RAM for my 400sc soon, so I think I'll go with this deal.
 
I don't see why not. PC3200 Dual Channel. I already have a GB of Crucial non-ecc in another 400sc that works beautifully. According to the unofficial faq the CL timing is supported.

definitely works with the 400sc....if you call kingston they'll tell you it's incompatible, but that's because they want you to buy the ECC version...which is more expensive.

Non-ecc ram works fine in 400sc from personal experience.
 
I bought this kit last weekend from local Fry's and am using it with my 400SC. It works fine with it. Geil, I think, has heat spreaders. This kingston is CL3, Geil may be CL 2.5, I didn't check.

I am having a problem with my 400SC. Let me see if anyone here have any suggestions. My Viewsonic VP2001 LCD doesn't turn on when the turn the 400SC on. I read on the web not to share the powersupply cable that goes to ATI 9800PRO, my video card. I did this but it is still not working. Integrated Device Preference in the BIOS is set to AGP. Does anyone have any clue what might be wrong.
